Understanding of the needs of disabled and disadvantaged groups

As a severely, profoundly deaf and now cochlear implanted man I have a clear understanding of the needs of disabled and D/deaf people.  In addition I try to understand and meet the other physical, intellectual, cultural and emotional needs of clients, students and colleagues.
